Super Slick, Fast Transitions

Super Slick, Fast Transitions

These are really cool elements. They make super slick, fast transitions. But if you scrub through them and stop in the middle, you can see that they are interesting looking graphic elements. I like to freeze-frame a point in the middle and use them as a base for a background. Then other elements can be layered on top of them. Or after they are a still element, they can be animated any way you want. Sometimes I’ll take a couple layers of light blast elements, change the blending mode on one of them and animate them going over the top of each other. I also like to use them as a way to animate text on or off. I’ll shrink them down on the Y axis so that they are the same height as a line of text, and time the animation of my text to match the timing of the light blast. They make for a super easy, yet interesting way to present text.
