Nothing looks better than real smoke

Nothing looks better than real smoke, and there’s a ton of it in the volume. There are enough options to realistically match the correct type of smoke effect with just about any shot. I used Studio Smoke on a horror video game trailer, and the effect was incredible – not my doing, but in that the effect was perfect. In fact, it was good to the point of the developer wondering where to buy the smoke effects to composite into future versions of the game.
